ROLLEIFLEX T WHITEFACE (3RD VERSION) NEAR MINT -RARE! With F3.5/75mm TESSAR LENS.

This is the my beloved Rolleiflex T. Rolleiflex T model 3/Rolleiflex T 3/Rolleiflex T (type 3). The serial number is 2316364. It is one of the last Ts fitted with a Tessar, before the switch to Xenar.

Bay 1 lens size (please see my other listing for a beautiful set of Bay1 filters and close up filters). After the remaining stock of Tessars had been used, the Xenars of the Rolleicord were mounted. Well, sort of the last one, that is until I bought this one in 2012 - later serial number and fitted with a Tessar lens. The Synchro-Compur XV shutter cover shows a V and a flash sign. V stands for delayed action (Germ: Vorlaufwerk, the timer that runs before the shutter is released).

In 1970/1 a shiny silver name plate with small print around the taking lens was introduced. This was just a purely cosmetic change.

Later it became the sought after "White-face". This camera is dated somewhere between.

The condition of the camera is near mint. The lightmeter is responsive and accurate. The lenses are clean without any scratches or fungus. Shutter speeds all tested and accurate. Comes with original Rolleiflex carrying case.
