F&H Rolleicord II Type 1 TLR Camera with Zeiss 7.5cm f/3.5 Triotar Lens. The Viewing lens is a Heidoscop Anastigmat 7.5cm f/3.2. The Taking lens is a Carl Zeiss Jena 7.5cm f/3.5 Triotar (10 clean blades). Both lenses have good optics with faint cleaning cleaning marks. The wasitline finder viewing screen is spanned by crosshairs. Defects found: Nameplate dented and slightly bent forward, and faded with age. The focus dial has its leatherette cover missing. There are the usual areas of leatherette casing peel and spots of rust.
As usual, the shutter speeds seem slightly slow. Please note: Only basic functionality has been tested, to wit: shutter release / mirror action, shutter speed & ISO dials (turning, not accuracy), film winder, opening film compartment, opening any battery compartment.
The light meter is not usually tested because there are not usually any working batteries in the camera (for technical reasons batteries cannot be included in the package anyway). Please note: If the camera is a vintage item, assume that the self timer is broken, unless otherwise stated. I no longer test the self timer myself.
Self timers on vintage cameras are fragile & best left alone. Personal name (not just company name) - e.
