Mamiya c220 Professional with Sekor S 80mm f2.8 Blue Dot & Extras Film Tested
Mamiya C220 Professional twin lens reflex 6x6cm medium format film camera in good condition. An inspection sticker inside the film tray has a timestamp from September 8, 1981. Strap lugs and WLF attachment hardware are solid and functional. Film door is good shape with working lock hinges and film roller spools. All knobs including both focus knobs and film advance function perfectly, as does the film counter window and multiple exposure switch, and lens release lock and corresponding mechanism. Female cable release socket is clean and threads correctly and shutter button functions perfectly. Lens board is clean and all parallax and exposure compensation markings are good and easy to read. There is some slight grease from the focus rails. Bellows are in great shape and are free of holes or leaks - I've put a few dozen rolls of film through this camera and there are no light leaks. Leatherette is in great shape with no peeling. Finder attaches perfectly and is solid with a functional speed finder window and clean magnifier. However, the springs in the walls of the finder are a little loose and sloppy. The pop up feature still works, and the shade works properly, but requires a little manual "encouragement" from time to time. Film bay is CLEAN with good working rollers. 120/220 rotational plate works correctly as does the "lock" mechanism for changing lenses.
The mirror was cleaned when I bought it from the previous owner, who also replaced the film bay light seals. The included lens is a Mamiya Sekor S 80mm f2.8 "Blue Dot".
The shutter is accurate at all speeds with functional switch and speed ring. All apertures are normal with good clicky ring - leaf shutter blades are clean and operate normally.
The glass is free of haze, fungus, or scratches and has what I would consider a "normal" amount of minute dust. 46mm screw in lens hood (no vignetting). 46mm Tiffen 25a Deep Red contrast filter. 46mm Tiffen 8 Yellow 2 contrast filter.
