Camera aperture settings and shutter speeds are in good working order and adjust smoothly. Focus traction is silky smooth and the bellows light tight.
All switches and buttons work correctly. Film advance mechanism and associated elements are all in good order.
Film is transported properly, frame by frame. Focusing screen has recently been replaced. Focusing hood opens and closes crisply. Occasionally, the focus magnifier itself needs a brief touch underneath to assist it into a fully open position.The mirror is clean and undamaged. The Blue Dot taking lens is clear and bright and free from scratches, haze, fungus and visible dust.
Viewing lens is also clear and bright and free from scratches. Under intense examination, there appears to be traces of dust which aren't at all visible when composing and focusing. Shutter blades are clean and properly aligned. Both the side and the waist shutter releases work correctly.
Diaphragm is clean and moves smoothly throughout its full range. The camera light seals have been replaced. Lens locking and unlocking mechanisms, single and multi-exposure settings and all other components and functions, work as they should. The tripod bush is in good clean condition. There are a few minor marks on the edges and corners of the camera frame where the paint has been rubbed-off over time, and the camera base has been lightly marked by surfaces it has stood on.
