Extremely rare folding TLR camera from 1934 : Welta Perfekta with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar f/3.8 7.5cm & with Weltaskop f/3.8 7.5cm lenses. Welta Perfekta cameras are very rare but this version with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar is the rarest version these days (most of the time you can find it with Meyer Görlitz Trioplan or with Zeiss Tessar).
The Welta Perfekta is a legendary twin-lens reflex camera (6x6) for 120 roll film, made by Welta-Kamera-Werk in Freital (near Dresden). This camera's unusual design with its collapsing "lazy-tongs" construction meant that it was very compact when closed.
The reflex mirror folded flat when the camera was closed. Condition: This camera has been serviced and fully working but I didn't test with film! All the shutters are working perfectly! Both lenses are clear and fungus free with only a few, very tiny haze on the backside of the Xenar lens. The mirror is brand new in it!
You will get its original leather case, but a piece is missing from it. Overall this is a great collector camera in fantastic condition, a piece of camera history!
The camera is in Hungary (EU). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! Welta Perfekta with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar FULLY WORKING! TLR 6x6" is in sale since Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
