Fujimoto Seisakusho Fujimoflex TLR Japan; 120 roll film, with Lucky Anastigmat 1:3.5 f=7.5cm viewfinder lens without serial number and Lucky Anastigmat 1:3.5 f=7.5cm taking lens No. The Fujimoflex offered here is the second TLR type camera (twin-lens reflex camera) by Fujimoto that was apparently produced in very small numbers in the 1950s. The Alpenflex Z was Hachiyo's last camera produced for only one year.
I suspect that after the bankruptcy of Hachiyo in 1955, Fujimoto bought up the remaining stock and machinery and used it to build the Fujimoflex, which was then offered as a prototype or view copy to potential dealers outside Japan - that would explain the " Japan " engraving and the rarity of the camera. Neither CameraWiki, McKeown nor Sugiyama lists the Fujimoflex. Barry Toogood, a well-known British collector of TLRs, and Yoshihiro Hayashida of the All Japan Classic Camera Club were not aware of the Fujimoflex when asked. A request for information about the Fujimoflex i sent to Kenko Tokina Co. The parent company of Fujimoto Photo Industrial since 2008 - was also unsuccessful. Another Fujimoflex was last seen and auctioned in 1998 26 years ago!!! The offered Fujimoflex is cosmetically in a good, used condition that corresponds to its age. The camera is uncleaned, only superficial dust has been removed. The transport mechanism works, but is a bit stiff.The shutter speeds 1/2 sec. Expire too quickly, the full second, B and 1/10-1/300 sec. Aperture, self-timer, focus and other mechanics work well.
The front element of the taking lens has many fine cleaning marks. The front element of the viewfinder lens also has traces of cleaning, and there is some dust/dirt on the mirror. The missing locking pin on the accessory shoe in the pictures has since been replaced by an original locking pin from an Alpenflex Z. I recommend a major overhaul / CLA of the camera.

Sie bieten auf eine äußerst seltene, selbst in Japan völlig unbekannte Kamera des weltberühmten, historisch bedeutenden Herstellers von Kameras und hochwertigen Vergrösserern Fujimoto Seisakusho (Fujimoto Manufacturing). Fujimoto war der Hersteller der ersten japanischen TLR " Prince Flex ", deren Produktion Fujimoto 1937 von Neumann & Heilemann übernahm. Die hier angebotene Fujimoflex ist die zweite Kamera des Typs TLR (Zweiäugige Spiegelreflexkamera), die Fujimoto offensichtlich in den 1950er Jahren in einer nur sehr geringen Stückzahl hergestellt hat.
Die Fujimoflex ist bis auf das Namensschild, die Objektivbezeichnung, die Copal -Verschlussabdeckung, das Fujimoto -Logo auf der Oberseite, das Kunstleder und die " Japan "-Gravur auf dem Kameraboden identisch mit der Alpenflex Z des Herstellers Hachiyo Kogaku. Die Alpenflex Z war die letzte Kamera von Hachiyo, die nur ein Jahr lang produziert wurde. Ich vermute, dass Fujimoto nach dem Konkurs von Hachiyo im Jahr 1955 die restlichen Lagerbestände und Maschinen aufkaufte und sie zum Bau der Fujimoflex verwendete, die dann potenziellen Händlern außerhalb Japans als Prototyp oder Ansichtsexemplar angeboten wurde - das würde die " Japan "-Gravur und die Seltenheit der Kamera erklären. Weder bei CameraWiki, McKeown noch bei Sugiyama wird die Fujimoflex aufgeführt. Barry Toogood, ein bekannter britischer Sammler von TLRs, und Yoshihiro Hayashida vom All Japan Classic Camera Club kannten nach Anfrage die Fujimoflex nicht.
Auch die Bitte um Auskunft zur Fujimoflex bei der Firma Kenko Tokina Co. Seit dem Jahr 2008 Mutterkonzern von Fujimoto Photo Industrial - blieb ergebnislos. Eine weitere Fujimoflex tauchte zuletzt 1998 auf vor 26 Jahren!!!
, und wurde bei Christie's in London in einem Lot mit anderen japanischen TLRs versteigert, ein Jahr zuvor - 1997 - wahrscheinlich die gleiche Kamera einzeln Beschreibung: Fujimoflex TLR Japan; 120-rollfilm, with a Lucky f/3.5 7.5cm. Die angebotene Fujimoflex ist kosmetisch in einem guten, gebrauchten Zustand, der ihrem Alter entspricht. Die Kamera ist ungereinigt, nur oberflächlicher Staub wurde entfernt.
Der Transportmechanismus funktioniert, ist aber etwas schwergängig. Laufen zu schnell ab, die volle Sekunde, B und 1/10-1/300 Sek. Blende, Selbstauslöser, Fokus und weitere Mechanik funktionieren gut. Die Frontlinse des Aufnahmeobjektivs hat viele feine Putzspuren. Die Frontlinse des Sucherobjektivs weist ebenfalls Putzspuren auf, und auf dem Spiegel ist etwas Staub/Schmutz vorhanden.
