The usable range of lenses and focus distances is a matter of trial and error but the bellows do not extend very far as it was intended for studio portraiture on a limited scale. The camera back is a standard international Graflok style 5x4 spring back and takes all the usual film holders. The lens has a built in rotary shutter which is cocked in the usual way and runs at a fixed speed of 1/60th (I think) but it has aperture controls. There are a few noticeable light leaks from some frayed bellow corners when you extend them.
Some carefully applied black tape should fix this, at least in the short term. Overall there are signs of age and use. The finish is a bit dull and a little tarnished compared to a new one but that's cosmetic. The screen is reasonably clean and certainly quite bright. This would perhaps make a really fun street camera with a super fast lens, or for large format stereo photography.
